The merchant is given a unique ZixCharge member ID for each
transaction. This allows the merchant to aggregate purchase information
without knowing the actual identity of the consumer.
Merchants may send
email to members. If the email address is an @ZixCharge forwarding
address, ZixCharge will forward the email to the member's real email address.
In the event of a
transaction dispute, the member's personal and credit card information
may be forwarded to the merchant.
